This new event, the first of its kind, takes place across a number of sites in London’s Kings Cross over the first weekend of October.
Celebrating Greek wine in all its glory and all its many guises, there will be 130 wines on show, including wines from Gaia Estate, Monemvasia and Manolesakis, as well as further wines from Hallgarten's Greek portfolio.
The festival will also feature a meze bar and cocktails from nearby restaurant The Greek Larder, whose owner Theodore Kyriakou is curating the event.
Jancis Robinson and Julia Harding MW are both involved in the festival. Robinson will be signing books, and Harding will be hosting talks on regions and varieties.
“Whether you’re a novice or a pro, you’ll learn a huge amount through this showcase of the very best wines from one of the world’s most distinctive wine-producing countries,” says Robinson.
